Services

Five ways to work with a senior practitioner who builds the thing rather than recommending it.

Goldseam offers five services: AI consulting (work out where AI pays off, then build it), process automation (remove a specific manual bottleneck), n8n consulting (implement and fix n8n workflows), fractional AI leadership (a senior owner for the AI agenda) and fractional CTO (part-time leadership of the whole technology function). All are delivered personally, in weeks rather than quarters, with the ROI measured rather than assumed.

Which one do you need?

They overlap, and it doesn't much matter if you pick the wrong one - the first conversation sorts that out. But if you'd rather work it out yourself, start from the situation you're actually in:

How engagements are structured

Two models, both deliberately short.

Fixed-price projects

A clear deliverable at a clear price - typically 5-20 days of work spread across 4-8 weeks, 50% up front and 50% on delivery. Best for a specific automation, a proof-of-value pilot, or a first phase that has to earn the next one.

Fractional leadership (day rate or retainer)

Ongoing strategic guidance and hands-on delivery, one to three days a week, for as long as it's useful. Best when you need senior technical judgement in the room without opening a full-time role.

What you get either way

  • One senior practitioner: 20 years of hands-on delivery across 8+ industries. No junior analysts, no bench.
  • Working software, not a deck: deployed into your environment, with error handling and monitoring, not a prototype.
  • Measured ROI: the time and cost saved compared against a real baseline, so the value is evidenced rather than claimed.
  • A clean exit: documentation and training so your team owns and extends what I build. Dependency is not the business model.
  • Vendor neutrality: the right tool for the job. I have no reseller margin to protect.

Does it actually pay for itself?

I'll work with you to build a scope around your budget and objectives, before we begin you'll have a measurable ROI and a business case that writes itself. Some previous examples from my case studies:

  • CRM data pipeline automation - £50,700 saved annually
  • AI-powered sales qualification - 67% increase in closed-won rate, £56K ARR added from the same pipeline
  • Month-end close automation - 70% reduction in close time
  • Fintech user onboarding - hours to minutes, £13,300 saved annually

If you'd rather read first

Each of these answers the question that usually comes before picking a service:

The full insights section covers the rest, and about covers who you'd be working with.

Still not sure which one?

Then start with the problem rather than the service. Book a call, describe what's slowing you down, and I'll tell you which of the five fits - or that none of them do, which happens and is worth knowing early.
